Risk management involves identifying dangerous situations and understanding the potential liability of our actions. Even more importantly, risk management is about caring. With that in mind, Alpha Xi Delta developed C.A.R.E. – Communication, Action, Responsibility and Education – our handbook that details information needed in risk management situations. In addition to FIPG policies and C.A.R.E., Alpha Xi Delta maintains a social policy and programs that help educate our members about the effects of alcohol and the risks involved with alcohol use.

Hazing
Any type of hazing is forbidden. Alpha Xi Delta members are expected to comply with all institutional, state and local anti-hazing rules and laws and to uphold the Alpha Xi Delta principles. Alpha Xi Delta defines hazing as any activity which subtly or flagrantly demeans, embarrasses, threatens, frightens, invites ridicule of, or draws inappropriate attention to a member; and as an attitude which implies one member is superior to another or that initiation must be earned through personal services or meaningless activities for initiated members.
